Australian Pavilion
At the 2011 AMX National Dealer Conference Wizard Projects was awarded
a "Best Project Award" for the Australian Pavilion, Shanghai World Expo
2010. Managing Director Paul van der Ent said “these large creative led
projects are a key part of the AV industry around the world”
“it helps put the excitement into the AV industry”. The feedback received
at this event was extremely positive by all. Around 8.3 million people
visited the Australian Pavilion in the 6 month open period, a record
for Australia.
Museum of Contemporary Art
The Museum of Contemporary Art was re-launched on the 29th March, held
in part by over a year of planning and installation by Wizard Projects
(NSW). The project uses the latest EXTRON IP link control systems to control
the educational and function areas of the museum. This was a
challenging project for the team over an extended period with staged
handovers of areas. The EXTRON Systems interface with a number of
building systems such as LSC and Dynalite lighting, Roland audio
consoles, Panasonic vision switchers, and Polycom Video conferencing
systems to name a few.
Wizard Installs 1st BIAMP TESIRA in Australia.
In June Wizard Projects finished commissioning the Spender Theatre at
the Australian Defence College in Canberra. The system included the
1st BIAMP TESIRA AVB platform audio DSP Matrix. Wizard Managing
director said “it’s exciting times for AV with the new AVB and
HDBaseT digital platforms coming out and we are proud to be the
first to install this cutting edge technology” The system also
includes the new AMX ENOVA DGX 16x 16 Digital Media Switcher and
NI 3100 control system with the new DX Link Multi-Format transmitters,
all connected through a Dataton Watchout processor for blending of
the two Projection Design projectors so that multi display formats
can be viewed.
